Crookston, MN

The town was incorporated on April 1, 1879 as "Queen City", until its name changed to “Crookston” in honor Colonel William Crooks, a soldier and railroad builder.

HKL&H’s roots go back to the town’s incorporation in 1889 when the law firm was opened by attorney Martin O’Brien.
